THE SMART WAY TO CHOOSE AN APARTMENT UNIT

There are eight cardinal directions that you can see on a compass, but only the four cardinal directions of east, west, north and south are often used as a benchmark for house facing directions. Each facing direction has its own advantages and disadvantages, which should be adjusted according to each person’s taste.

Many people consider this facing direction when buying a property, such as an apartment. However, many people also often feel confused when faced with the question of which direction to choose, which of course will affect the comfort of the residents.

Here is a smart way to choose an apartment unit based on the cardinal directions that you can make a guide when buying an apartment that will usually also increase its selling or rental value.

EAST FACING DIRECTION

East-facing apartments will get maximum sunlight in the morning. In this sense, the unit will have a warmer view of the sunrise and is great for the health of its residents.

WEST FACING DIRECTION

In contrast to the east-facing direction, the west-facing direction will get quite hot sunlight during the afternoon to evening. In fact, if the sunlight is not blocked by anything, it will enter and increase the temperature inside your home. However, apart from the temperature issue, a west-facing house can actually get a beautiful view of the sunset.

NORTH FACING DIRECTION

Uniquely, north-facing apartments do not get the morning sun, nor the afternoon sun. This condition can make the unit look shady and tend to be dark, but it still has the added value of always feeling comfortable without being disturbed by the glare of the sun.

SOUTH FACING DIRECTION

Many people are quite fond of the south-facing direction which is arguably quite exclusive. Unlike the north which gets no sun, the south still gets sunlight in the morning from the side and in the afternoon gets sunlight from the opposite direction of the morning sun.

Regardless of which direction you choose, actually all directions have their own advantages and disadvantages depending on what kind of view the residents of the apartment unit want to see. If the apartment you choose has a good view on all sides like the Kemang Apartment, maybe choosing the direction of facing is not a problem.
